One of the things you don't want to see when you turn your cell phone on is a flicker of welcome screen followed by total blackness. The battery is just fine.
One of the things you don't want to feel when you send a print job to the laser is finger-singeing heat emanating from the newly printed pages even after a minute or more in the output tray. This is a fuser malfunction.
One of the things you really don't want to discover when you open the layout file for a book that is almost ready to go to press is all your carefully constructed knitting charts re-rendered in Times New Roman gibberish. This is not good at all.
